I have seen that although a UTex spokesman said Muschammp is happy at Texas and intends on being there a long time that UTenn is not giving up on him and are in contact with his agent this morning and haven't given up.
Also that Peyton Manning has called and voiced his input for Coach Cut and that Coach Cut is interested, but as all of you are aware, WHO REALLY KNOWS
Oddly enough Muschamp's agent is non other than former Vol grad, and current agent to Fulmer and Kiffin as well, Jimmy Sexton.
Still kinda funny. Orgeron taking his red bull and leaving:

I think Mike Hamilton also said that that was the way the rule used to read. He said it changed this year and if a student is on campus as a student at 12:01 am of the first day of classes that they are locked into that school. I wouldn't put to much stock into what that clown Lugenbill says. Of course, Hamilton's word shouldn't be considered gospel either.
Duke coach David Cutcliffe has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Tennessee head coaching job, a source close to the situation said Friday. Cutcliffe, a former offensive coordinator with the Vols, had talks with Tennessee on Thursday to potentially replace Lane Kiffin, who bolted the program on Tuesday to become USC coach.
"David Cutcliffe will remain at Duke," a source close to the situation said.
